2010 Tournament Updates/Notes
World Series qualification - To play in the 2010 World Series, all teams must do one of the following to qualify-
1- Play in the Spring State and 1 other tournament.
2- Play in the IFA State and 1 other tournament.
3- Play in 2 regular tournaments.
If you want to sign up for the World Series, please let Larry know which qualifying tournaments you will participate in, and he will list you on the "Who's Playing" for the World Series.
If you are more than 100 miles away from any IFA tournament
location, please contact Larry Stewart for qualifications.

After much thought and consideration, we have decided to leave the 14U age groups pitching distance in NC at 40ft.
Middle School will remain at 40ft in 2010 so we felt it would be best to stay there for 14U. After many emails and phone calls from coaches, the huge majority wanted 14U to remain at 40ft.
Our first thought was to offer both options, but that would be a points nightmare. We hope everyone will support our decision. We will look at this again at the end of the season and re-assess for 2011.

Please note - Any team that wins a tournament offering free tournaments in 2011, can only do so once. If you win a 2nd event with this same offer, we will award you 1 more free tournament in 2011, but the rest of the free tournaments will go to the 2nd place team.
