Drop Out Policy___________________________________________IFA Tournament Drop-Out Policy
When teams sign up for a
tournament, we look for enough fields to accommodate all of our
teams. Sometimes we need to reserve extra fields and pay extra fees
for these fields. When a team drops the week of the tournament, it
changes the number of games and affects the number of fields we
need. When this happens, it results in unnecessary extra money being
paid by IFA for parks that we really didn’t need after all and
causes unnecessary last minute schedule changes for teams. IFA has always had an “Early Termination” fee for teams, but we have not enforced it.
Effective Immediately, IFA
will begin strictly enforcing the fees as follows- - If you drop
after the game times have been posted, the Early Termination fee
will be $75. - If you drop
the day before or day of the event, your Early Termination fee will
be half of the original entry fee. You will NOT be entered into
another event until these fees are paid and there will be NO
exceptions. We understand that things happen
and players get injured, etc…but this has become a frequent issue
each week and we can’t keep absorbing these costs.
